When, in 1956, Mrs Heilbronn, whose family still runs the hotel, purchased the Cécilia hotel, the only heritage left by the previous owners was a piano. This masterpiece was made by the famous company Gaveau, a piano maker in the 19th century, whose work is fully recognized in the musical world. You can enjoy the bar (open 24 hours a day) and play some notes if you wish or get comfortably seated in the lounge.
Located at the end of the lounge, our breakfast room welcomes you from 7AM to 10.30AM, where you can enjoy a cold buffet along with fresh croissants and bread made by an artisan baker from the neighbourhood. If you wish, a continental breakfast can be served in your room.
The building, built in 1896, is part of Baron Haussmann's renowned urban development plan, which has given Paris much of its prestige. As you pass through our newly renovated carriage entrance, flanked by two magnificent bronze gates, you will discover a spacious and elegant lobby.
The woodwork and design of our completely redecorated lobby is attributed to the owner, Mr. Guy Heilbronn.
